Prediction- SVB is being groomed for the CEO job but will take the job at ING so he can move home. SP will leave because he realizes he’s not on the short list. Who will be left at Wells? Hmmmmm.

He already did his tour at ING. Their current CEO has been in place for 3 years and is only 53. Not going anywhere.
I sort of miss Wells Fargo being referred to as the “franchise” and Team Members as “cult members” by our so called CEO. CS is as much of a true CEO as we are cult members. He obviously confused dedication, pride in one’s work, and support for each other’s success as traits of a cult which needed to be destroyed and removed from our former culture. Was it perfect? No, but miles from this toxic cesspool that this corrupt bunch of so called leaders has created.
That's because you don't understand US banking laws. Wells Fargo's deposits would have to be split up among multiple smaller banks. None of the other four of the big 5 could take on any of the deposits due to laws capping deposits.

SVB taught me how to sip my coffees. He’s an inspiration. And the progressives are running this “firm” into the ground. Employees can do nothing about it as they are not team members.

SVB is so great. I love his weekly recaps. So polished and seems to have great strategic thinking skills.
All I know for sure is that the Hudson Yards mafia wants to fire every last one of us, and as soon as they can get away with it, they will.

I often think that too! Wonder what our obligation to reveal that master plan to shareholders would be?? Seems like we keep getting hit with class action lawsuits for lack of transparency.
No grooming of successor needed. Chuck will be last CEO at WF (or 2nd to last if something unforeseen occurs). The plan was always sell-off. We're in the final phase of the stagecoach.
