Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Miscellaneous from recent calls & letters

  • My team was split amongst who’s “future role” MAY be relocated between Dallas and metro Atlanta; For those of our members already in Dallas (about 10% of our team) they are also split between Plano & Dallas
  • Dallas parking is going to be an issue - they are floating around the idea of employee shuttles
  • Metro Atlanta has almost no space for the incoming wave 2/3 - rumor is they are looking at consolidating into a major campus similar to Dallas
  • At least 2 folks under our AVP have been assigned to a building AT&T no longer owns and therefore cannot get access
  • RTO rules/policies are changing daily
  • Our mgmt direction right now is if you come in on one of your days and there are zero spots for you to sit/work - go home and work but let mgmt know

Then they need to be fired for not showing up to work.

That executive MBA from UCLA certainly has not helped Stankey run AT&T. The guy is a complete id--t who knows the BOD will do nothing as he has screwed up over and over and should have been fired long ago. Instead, they made him CEO. Pathetic!! Typical Stink Logic, go to your assigned office and if no place to sit go home and do this at least 3 times a week.

ACS? It’s a sh-t show?!!! And folks assigned to buildings that don’t exist were screwed by their supervisors who didn’t bother to participate in the assignment exercise two months ago.

There are already parking shuttles in Dallas - but they only go within about a two block radius of the buildings - to garages that are easy enough to walk to. There are other garages with AT&T-leased space that are up to a mile away from Whitacre tower that have NO planned shuttles whatsoever.

Looks like another ill conceived plan and even worse execution by the very poorly thought out AT&T executive management! AT&T executive management, get your heads out of your a$$e$ and get your minds right!

Sounds like your group didn't take care of the webphone/ elink cleanup they should have done before the letters were processed

"if you come in on one of your days and there are zero spots for you to sit/work - go home and work but let mgmt know "

This is the perfect example of T management strategy. It's objectively funny in a completely absurd way, while also being tremendously depressing because it's not a joke.

This entire initiative couldn't be more haphazard, clumsy, counterproductive, and ludicrous if it were left to a second-grader to create.

And remember, Stink is getting over $20M per year for this level of vision, insight, and performance.

200 people are assigned to a floor in downtown Dallas that has 70 monitors and 100 seats
