when I leave, the company is going to fold like a cheap suit. I'm the only one keeping it afloat.

I already see a major breakdown in colleagues work ethic regardless if in office or not . People do not respond as quickly, are mia for important meetings and have a non-chalant attitude. It hard to deal with when trying to "collaborate" and get work done on a couple of high priority initiatives.
I’m already working on a certification for a new career and working on my resume and seeing what’s out there. I plan on taking a month off to decompress since it’s been 25 years since I haven’t had a job. Then it’s off to the races to find a job. Oh, and porting my wireless to another company.
"I can write that down, sure."
Yeah but - in the good old days of 3 years ago, you had 60 days to write them down and for others to read them and ask questions.
2 weeks - ain't happening.
At the company, things will break slowly and no one will be able to fix them without spending a lot of time. I fixed an issue stemming from another issue in three days. I think it would take a new person 5-10 days the first time and that assumes they have access to all the same systems. People were screaming for the fix on day two.
I am not a superstar but just have the experience to know the four different things that work together to make this thing work. I can write that down, sure. I handle about 50-75 of these problems per year on top of my regular tasks.
at first you feel like you have no support system, then you piece together a plan. you will find the freedom intimidating at first but within a year will rediscover your pre att confidence. good luck and live well
Welcome to Walmart
Go to the mail box and collect my money and get high as a monkey .
Life goes on. Probably chaos at first. It’ll suck for many. Then after some time it’ll be fine again.
I’m going to sleep better.
The company continues to spiral downhill and I will have incentive to find happiness. There is indeed life after AT&T. Don’t let them fool you.
The T-900 plasma fusion reactor will probably combust. Nobody else knows how to fix it and I won’t be responding to any texts or calls. Good luck guys.
Uh I’m going to take my severance my yearly bonus and go get paid more. That’s what I’m doing lol. If they want to choose geolocation over quality employees they can live with the ripple that will occur
Thel detox process starts ,
To break the Stockholm syndrome engrained on your brain, changing how you thinks as well as other withdrawal symptoms
The side effects of a surplus are called withdrawal symptoms. They can range from mild confusion to health complications, and social withdrawal, it becomes difficult to make decisions, and even hallucinations of Randall and Stanley...your captors can appear. That’s why people must take precautions when they desire to heal their addiction to work and turn toward a healthier lifestyle by quitting dr-gs or alcohol in a detox facility.
life goes on we dont live forever.
