Any Priority to Letter Release

Are Wave 1 letters being sent out before Wave 2? Is there any identified pattern?

What group is this. No plan like this has been mentioned thus far, I think you misunderstood or it was not explained properly. Also, there is essentially no difference in what you described as wave1 and wave2. If you are in the Legg org, for sure you misunderstood.

50 miles by road or fifty miles as the crow flies? I keep seeing this distance quoted but never clarified.

That is because most of the time you have read it, people are just tossing it because they read it on this site. The management severance plan says nothing about this. The WARN act does, and I think saw it in an FAQ somewhere. It is likely in the FAQ because of the WARN act, not because it is in the severance plan.

Here is how it was laid out to us by leadership.

Wave 1 letters go out on June 30th and cover those who already have assigned office space in the two main location, Dallas and Atlanta stating they must report back to work by July 10th 3-5 days a week.

Wave 2 letters go out July 31st for those located within 50 miles of Dallas & Atlanta and any other hub cities that have been designated as ready. During this wave those within 50 miles will find out their assigned work locations and will have until Sept. 5th to start reporting.

Wave 3 letters are for those outside of the 50 mile mark. Those individuals will have the opportunity to decide whether they will report to one of the hub cities by Dec. 2024 dependent on the org. If the individual decides not to follow the job, they will stay on the books for 60 days and receive a severance package. If they say they will show and don't, then in Dec. 2024 or sooner they will have the opportunity to voluntarily separate with no severance or be terminated for job abandonment.

We were never told anything about it being done in waves. Last communication was that would we would receive our designations by June 30th.

The wave 1 - wave 3 is specific to Legg / ATS. Stankeys initial (and only) communication stated he wanted this done by EOY but expected some of it to roll into 2024 on order to allow time to get office space ready.

Our org, GES Mobility/ Mosele have not gotten the elusive letters/designations yet. Previously told we would receive them by June 30th and pretty much nothing else except a regurgitation of the same info already shared.

I would not be a surprised if we all got a calendar invite for a call that starts in 1 hour at 5 PM EST on Friday… that’s how they roll.
