Now that Charlie has axed mortgage to the ground how about getting rid of some of these worthless positions? RegionL sales consultants do absolutely nothing. Ours works remote and is never in the office and never available. She travels around with her boyfriend all around the country. Never available by phone or email. A total joke. Business execution consultants another position to ax. Not even sure what they do. We have not seen ours in 3 years. Charlie axed everyone who worked and left these people. What role specifically do you mean here? Branch banking cut about 2/3 of consultants at the beginning of 2023
Does BM mean Business managers?
The business execution consultants are supposed to work with the enterprise architects, the project engineers and the lead developer. They are supposed to correctly define and model the processes -- work between technical and the users. That is the way it was described to me on several occasions.
On one project the BEC was sick most of the time. There was no architect. There was a data modeler who basically ran our table and field names thru a renaming process. But no data model was created. No process analysis was done.
Most fell on the lead developer to do the ba work.
on the move to cloud the BEC don't have to do anything. They just say "lift and shift" -- sorta like rearranging yourself on the toilet seat. I heard about product development at Wells -- but never saw any of it in action. Wondering when they are going to release their AI automated agent, Fargo.
And for the move to agile. I only saw a user story when being taught agile.
Could not agree more!!! There are too many positions in this company that are riding the gravy train. People that do nothing. These are the positions that can be eliminated. Especially since Charlie axed mortgage HMCS and BMs yesterday
