Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

It’s not about you

Really look at the metrics. The light bulb turned may turn on. If I could shift 20,000 jobs without blinking an eye, I would save the company millions and get Millions in bonuses. Pretty selfish. It may even be boarder line self serving/conflict of interest. He saves millions & gets paid millions. Why would he care? It’s pretty unlikely anyone would ever prosper working for AT&T. JS is never going to going to do the right thing. I get now why they pay higher dividends, it’s in the metrics. He’s finagling with investors. I’m actually surprised this isn’t board line securities fraud. Who cares if they buy & destroy companies, loss & debt is not in the metrics.

Of course. It's never about employees or customers. It's all about the investors and executives.
