DEI Report

Just read through the DEI report. I appreciate them putting this out. Not surprising that 74% of US executives are white and 58% are male.

Would be nice if they put avg salary by demographics to see how much more work we need to do as a company.

I don’t consider this a valid report. We are told over and over again that we have a global footprint and that our team in India is the same as the US. But the report is only for the Us based employees. Which is it? We are global or we are US with outsourced staff?

Agreed with @lhj+1njlmHPh

The control groups are the worst led by tech control. A large bloated org with very little purpose and a tactic to elevate only friends and family with utter disregard for DEI considerations. The worst is the (wo)man at the top.

How can anyone downvote you just posting the numbers? It’s like they are upset that you challenge the narrative on these boards.

About 1/3 are overseas total. Eventually just about everyone at WF will be overseas unless they are an exec or maybe a handful of token CSRs.

Just check the DEI dance in tech control. 95% of the managers are white and a couple of token others. Here, they make a mockery of this effort.

Maybe you should be working rather than reading that steaming pile of BS. Perhaps then you could earn more.

You are missing out the data - Need to aggregate by department - technology 98% from India, quantitative finance 85% from China.

There, fixed it

75% of Americans are white and 54% of U.S. Wells Fargo workers are white.

This is a serious question: How is that not "unequal representation"? Statistically, other groups are overrepresented at Wells Fargo, and the largest ethnic group in the U.S. is underrepresented.

Is the ultimate goal of DEI to skew things toward even more extreme underrepresentation?

That must not include the # from India, which already accounts 10+% of total headcount.

That seems spot on considering 75% of Americans are white.
