Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Can't get myself to leave

Does anybody else want to leave WFC but can't seem to find enough motivation to actually do it? I've been stuck like this for over a year.

No, hang on if you're close to retirement. I lucked out, may you too.

I want to leave but PTO and crazy ghosting by recruiters has me here. I am also afraid of going from bad to worst. Several people that left my department for other banks are now laid off.

Same here. Creeping up on 6 months stuck in that loop. Personal life just keep taking precedence although the Resume is all up to date. Need stability somewhere and the unstable environment of Wells is the most consistent.

I'm holding out for a severance package....it may not come soon enough- if at all- since my team was deeply cut in March. Retirement for me is soo close.....
I really enjoy my job just cannot stand mgmt any longer

It’s just so boring. Every week I solve problems blah blah, fix this bug etc, and then pass Go and collect $200.

If anyone should leave, it’s CS & Co.

Between the current PTO and thinking a layoff is just around the corner I've been stuck here for an extra 2 years.

I must admit I'm here until I'm laid-off, why be the last in 1st out somewhere else.

Yes, I struggle with this frequently. My main worry is going from bad to some other version of bad.

But I know I have to do it.

Yes.

I am not 100% ready to give up my PTO allotment.

I worry about jumping from this toxic culture to another. I know it can’t be THIS bad everywhere but the pain you know seems easier than the unknown, sadly. Working on my thoughts about this to stop using it as a reason or excuse.

I get closer every single day and am truly wanting to get displaced with severance so I can take some time recover and rebuild.

There's still some hope that it will get better. Charles will have to leave first, but there's hope.
