RTO Non - HUB locations

I have seen posts indicating that individuals at non-HUB locations will be the first to be required to return to office (by end of 2023) at a HUB location (I assume Dallas). While this may be the quickest way at attaining HC reduction it doesn't seem likely to me. Has anyone heard this as well? For example, Chicago to Dallas by end of year. If yes what organizations?

I'm a non-hub customer-facing employee, I have been RTO for a few months now. At least twice a week in the office.

Yes, I am not near any of the hubs but they have turned our local office into a temporary hub so I now have about 18 months to decide and 24 months to move if I choose to do that. The letter actually says up to 18 to 24 months so could be shorter...

What do you mean first? We’ve been RTO twice a week for a couple months now.

"We (Legg org) were told folks in Chicago now have more time to move (2 years)."

We were told that and "a lot can change or blow over in 2 years". Maybe Stankey will be at GM by then.

It's pretty evident the relocation requirements and timelines are being devised and revised on the fly to accommodate individuals working on critical projects for which there is no contingency plan. For example, AVP calls up an IC in a city not on the hub list and says "hey, how far are you from Anytown and do you think you could get there 3X a week without a lot of difficulty?" in order to save another similar individual in the middle of nowhere.

Heard a bunch of virtual exceptions already for people NOT near hubs. Once again, someone didn’t do their research as to who would be impacted before announcing this disaster of a policy.
Now they’ll tick off a lot more people for who they pick and choose. But guess they don’t really care at this point.

This is not accurate in my org. Dallas and Atlanta employees are going to the office first in July.
Other hub and Non Hub employees won’t even know their designations until August.

Once again every org is handling this differently.

So, technically, managers in HUB locations will be the first ones required to RTO, since they don't have to relocate, they will be expected to come back starting next month, and in more offices in September. Managers in non-hub areas will be asked to relocate if their position is moving. Wave 1 would be the end of this year, we were told. Wave 2 sometime later in 2024.
