"As of 6/26 in webphone there are 219,560 contractors and 170,792 employee's."

This is our dirty secret. We keep seeing metrics that revenue per employee are terrible relative to our competitors and reports showing how many more employees we have than the competition.

What we never see, are consolidated numbers including contractors and offshore employees. There is no clear picture unless you account for this stuff.

If you are managing 200k contractors, a lot of people are needed to keep them on task.

Additionally, if you go to an offshore heavy model, you need all the offshore employees and a substantial onshore presence to manage them. In the end, you still end up with more heads, albeit, cheaper heads.

"This is completely false. Headcount has not dropped that dramatically since the last quarterly report. AT&T sucks but you have no idea what you're talking about."

It quite possibly has. EOY was about 160000 per company reports. Q1 reported reduction of 5100+- so that's now under 155k. Then there have been whatever the he-l is happening this quarter. 2k since end of first quarter? Entirely possible.

This number includes contractors and is accurate per company reporting.

Including contractors or no? If not, wonder if it can be added so we can see if there's any long term shift to contractors or if the headcount just completely goes off the books.
