I was verbally told which local office I have to report too, but they haven't given me the date yet.

I was told no dice on role being virtual, that I would hear on 22nd, and nothing today.

Real professional operation ya got there, Big John. Shame if something was to happen to the stock price.

I am wondering if there are few critical people our org feels they can't lose, and who are being argued over for virtual. I know I'm not one of them. I also know I look forward to getting out of here, I can't imagine being one of the anointed few virtual roles and having to deal with people thrown back into an office.

Collaboration? My ar-e. This was a badly managed force reduction. Funny how the small gang that came up with this are paid millions of dollars.

Legg sent out an email today for "save the date", "ask me anything" meeting. In that notice, there's a link for where we supposedly can find the "latest information" about RTO and it clearly states in the FAQ that "by June 22nd, your supervisor will share information about your new workkpace designation ..."

So we are SUPPOSED to hear something today, but so far, nothing.

Don't shoot the messenger, just relaying the "facts" for my org under Legg as they currently stand.

L2 under Legg, manager said I would receive RTO notification today (June 22), but he is not being told anything else. We're both on vacation today (though not together lol).

Still checking email compulsively, vacation or no.

Multiple all-hands were scheduled then canceled by our VP after the long-scheduled one immediately after the RTO notification. I think in this instance AVPs and below don't know anything more than their DRs.

L2 ATS mgt under Legg here-
As far as this:
“ Most (as confirmed here), including my own group under Luong were informed that their plan for the RTO/ hub initiative is still under review/ awaiting approvals. Best case is end of June early July more likely, to hear anything new on that front.”

We were told by today , the 22nd , we would be told our RTO and long-term location.
There is a meeting this afternoon to likely tell us nothing, again.

Why do people keep conflating RTO and move to hubs, with the current surplus?

Most (as confirmed here), including my own group under Luong were informed that their plan for the RTO/ hub initiative is still under review/ awaiting approvals. Best case is end of June early July more likely, to hear anything new on that front.

There IS a current surplus going on right now, as we speak, in the ACE org under Sambar. Calls are being made, and the script is being read. There is no "letter".

Surplus letters are for non-management employees ? If correct then RTO letters do not apply to non-managers. So why the two notices are related or dependent of each other?

RTO letters are delayed as the surplus notices are going out first.
