Voluntary Surplus after RTO Letter responses

Hearing rumors of voluntary surplus being offered shortly after all the responses from the RTO letters have been received. The rumor is that they will be offering 1 year severance instead of 6 months. My guess...it's possible that this may be true if they don't get the numbers they are looking from RTO. Or it could be just a rumor. Your guess is as good as mine.

It makes sense if they don't payout a bonus in 2024, which it looks like what's gonna happen.

Most positions are being marked for elimination, so there will be no severance. Unemployment will be the backup option if there is a delay in getting another job.

stank and company have all the employees right where they want them. the company is DOA. it has been destroyed. employees have been working on nothing for years, budgets are small. expect the manual labor ditch diggers types. climbing poles like mo--ns and stuff. there is no recourse here. move and get canned or stay and get canned.

"There is not going to be any severance if employees decline their positions"

You are clueless. If you are told to move more than 50 miles, you will get severance if you do not "quit'.

There is not enough money for severance.

Or it could be a lame attempt to convince people to skip severance now, hoping for something more, so then they can get fired with nothing. Not worth the risk.

Fake news, no, never, nada, zilch, goose eggs, not gonna happen! Stop spreading rumors just for laughs! ATT people are very anxious due to the RTO and don't need to hear some yahoo giving false hope to those that would like nothing more than to leave with a nice payout!

Management is max 6 months. Craft would be goverened by their contract first, and I think most of them get more than 6 months anyway.

Fake news. No one is going to pay you more than 6 mos severance to leave. Bigger odds would be to pay less severance.
