Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Marketing is about AVAYA and NOT Egos! Bravo! πŸ‘

Let's give credit where credit is due.

Marketing should ALWAYS be beind the scenes. Yet the last several years it was clouded with egos that ensured all eyes were on them and not Avaya solutions or customers.

I tip my hat to CEO for resetting the culture to be about the client. We acually now think about the facts and the solutions and not person(s) who are more concerned with promoting themselves. For too long these people believed THEY (Me/Myself/I)= Avaya Brand. Now I'm thinking Experience! Customer! Value! Results!

Thank you! Now let's address why we hear that we are a "global" company but it feels more like North America is a subsidiary of Dubai?

Imagine being one of her biggest champions, and coaching her endlessly this past year, yet coming to terms with the fact that she prefers to ignite these unnecessary fires and pathologically believes he words actions and look-at-me babble are classy!?!

Yes. That's the heXX I'm currently facing. I never should have signed on to fight for her so-called "cause". I just now look foolish, too.

Everyone sees it. Including the new employer and all the others that were considering giving her an offer.
I take pleasure it witnessing the show. As its impact on her prospects is far from what she believes it to be.

They are not a joke.
Just ask them.
They are an expert on everything...

You too can be an expert on everything. Just declare that you know of someone who is important. And suddenly you are validated as having equal credibility!

That joke of a person is the loudest vapid bubble in a large sea of wanna-be "look at me" desperate non-influencers.

They are successful, as they hammer the 'i am so successful " message over all of our heads. Successful at being the most dense, most clueless, most annoying, most insecure, most in-your-face, most classless, most tacky, most obvious non-talent and wasted salary.

"I am a middle-aged millenial, yes I am the villain but businesses pay a lot of money for our opinions. Good thing I am passionate about making the tech industry better for the next business and IT leaders" #TheMoreYouKnow & a "Mic Drop" {After first talking to}

This one comes out swinging when the behavior catches up to them. They typically (and have repetedly) swung out until they hit an actual wall, then celebrate themselves as being able to grow. Yet they cycle never changes.

{MANY more Swinging comments in between}

"I take pride in my work, BUT learning from MY mistakes and taking responsibility is as much more rewarding" #GrowthMindset {After 2nd Talking to since first one sparked the battle cry}

NOTE -- It is Always EYE "I".

Personal brand was not invited to attend the event for a reason. The company finally realized that the person was causing a lot of harm to the brand. The content that the person was creating was terrible and had no point to it. Glad the company is putting an end to it.

Yes. I like that it's just "Avaya" now and not certain personalities.
The overall presentation, aka marketing (process, not people) was measured to match our market. Let's hope it continues...

Kim Howland should get a lot of credit.
She inherited the team following the clown show. And she has been nothing but grace and professionalism. She is #WomeninTech and set an example for class.

You're comparing the CEO to marketing. That's comparing a clock to a pack of hyenas. The clock even broken, is right twice a day. The other is just a pack of hyenas. Neither is of value.

Well. No more Superheros & Sideshows who blidly declared ONE CLOUD/ALL CLOUD is a SIGNIFICANT improvement!

Alan played β€œGolden Ba--s”, an old British game show with his employees. Promised to split the pot, but lied and went on to steal the pot instead. #DPTW

You must tip your hat to a CEO who made everyone look left. At the same time, he took the $10M and equity in the new Avaya, having wiped out your stock options, and frozen your pay, got rid of half the company, along with promoting the Dubai Mafia, who caused a lot of the issues that got us into this mess. He has also convinced the masses that the team in Galway, which has consistently promised salvation in the guise of CCaaS, has continued to underdeliver, letting the competition move ahead of us further. At least the CEO will have a job as a magician if this all goes wrong.

DPTW would not be a good laugh if the outcomes were not so severe. Now he is employing his mates for the coup de grΓ’ce. So yes, hats off to the CEO; he has made a donkey out of us all.

Wow, what a Mo--n! You’re thanking and giving credit to a CEO the came in and lied to all employees by pumping and then dumping on all the employee Avaya shares? That’s like thanking Jack the Ripper for buying his kn--e from the Salvation Army. Your an id--t and deserve whatever additional shorthand’s he deals you.
