Odd, I figured it was due to being the most indebted company on earth and thus an easy way to cut some debt. Color me stupid. I had no idea that making people potentially relocate on their own dime was an idea to ‘maximize productivity’.
Fmp letters going out in my org on 6/22. Before the rto letters coming to my group 1 week later. I know no numbers or percents on 6/22 hit.

Surplus because of RTO or just pure surplus to cut cost?
The RTO surplus is not called surplus but T they call it reject to comply with company regulations
And this is happening every beginning of the week since early June
Surplus is a culture in AT&T
This is not a new thing
AT&T was doing this for many years at very small scale not to attract the media attention
I remember since 2017 about 2 to 5% of every team was let go for different reasons

Really? Hard to believe the board has been so silent about anyone let go in the last 2 weeks. The scope must be very very limited. Nothing significant posted on this board with details about any activity.

Really? We are on a board almost completely occupied with surplus posts and you are telling us the Legg org received theirs and not one post about it til now?

The people I know that was surplused from Legg’s org happened during the last two weeks, I don’t know anyone received a note today
