Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Board/C-suite invested in equity groups that buy up Dallas real estate?

Housing demand is pretty inelastic, meaning people need to rent and/or buy regardless of price.

Shifting the demand curve in a city like Dallas by forcing a few ten thousand people to move there will dramatically increase rents and sale prices.

You might be surprised to see just how much a number of Dallas high-level executives of a certain company have been investing into these firms.

Blackrock made a deal with AT&T recently to help the fiber buildout. Stankey announced RTO a few days later. Blackrock buys up houses and rents them. Follow the money.

This is the simple truth.

Think of the profits - even just 10,000 people buying homes that are going at $25,000 premiums over ask - that's $250M in pure extra profit right there, and the premium over ask is likely much larger. It's basically like insider trading but not in their own company, so they can claim ignorance.
