Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Direct tv

Why not sell Direct tv?! Its a total diaster, customers despise it, and when we try to sell it we get cursed! Sell it, take your loss as you have in all your other adventures and go back to what made AT&T a company!

As I understand it, while T still holds a huge chunk of stock in DTV, it is now its own company, free of any T influence in terms of marketing, expansion, etc.

Sadly, if T wanted to sell their stake of DTV they wouldn't get much. The amount of destruction Stink has done to what was once the leading pay tv provider is beyond reckoning. I mean, when Dish is a better option than DTV you know someone really took a flamethrower to it.

DTV was a good company with good customer service before T acquired it. I saw how dysfunctional it became first hand when I moved to a team supporting DTV two years ago. The original DTV people hated AT&T for destroying them.

Everything the 'Death Star' touches goes south, even their employees! Stinky is a joke of a leader.

Like all other acquisitions, everything T touched was destroyed. DTV was sold two years ago. AT&T still owns majority of shares.
