Employee count is not going down significantly. When do checks start bouncing?
That's not a big drop nor a fast drop on headcount, most especially when compared to the huge chaos which erupted here in past 2 months.

There are many positions that add no real value to the company. If you are not directly related to providing service or maintaining service for paying customers, go ahead and get resume updated.
Seems to me that the company is reducing the management headcount and keeping all the occupational personnel intact! Will T ever reduce occupational headcount or are they being relied on to carry this company to the finish line? Curious minds want to know, when will there be occupational layoffs?

40K? T needs to be at 80K max.
They have to borrow the money to pay the severance. Free cash flow is a mirage.
A lot more will leave because of RTO and backfill is very rare.
