Even legitimate clearly non-DEI hating posts are being removed, like the one mentioning where on of the execs said their best day so far was when Charlie told them to go back to the office. This forum is strangely moderated.

I agree. If i have to hear anymore about co-workers and their kids sports functions, I’m gonna explode. Why they keep bringing this nonsense up when that is not part of our working relationship - i don’t know! We need to get this to stop. When working, we only talk about work!

I don’t care what she is but the fact that she had to take time during her work day to cry or whatever and tell everyone about it is the exact reason you don’t hire her. It’s called work people, not therapy! Talk to your spouse or partner on your own time. While at work act professional and toughen up.

@1hqa+1nVxuYi4 Thank you! It’s not the sharing of being g-y or bi or trans or qu--r or straight that is abrasive so much as then going into detail on what that means in their personal lives. I don’t care which group you belong to - or even if you belong to every group - i just don’t think talking about what you do outside the office is relevant to our working relationship.

Maybe I’m getting old but I remember a time when talking about your own or asking others about their s-x life in the office would get you an harassment charge.

The problem is when your orientation is basically your job it becomes part of the conversation. If I was in AI and talked about AI all the time then people would probably criticize my constant mentions of AI. They wouldn’t criticize my love of bridge because playing bridge is never brought up. It’s just a part of my life that isn’t that interesting and people at work don’t need to know.

Tali post:
“Here’s what happened: I shared a communication which I knew would draw a mixed response because we were asking people to change behavior. I expected some frustration and even anger. What I did not expect was the nature of some of the external commentary based on my personal identity: my se-ual orientation and my gender, to be specific. I spent part of the day processing and feeling the need to protect myself and people I work with. Put aside any ethical or moral judgement, this was time and capacity taken away from my day’s work. Now imagine the exponential impact for those that feel hostility in literal and virtual rooms they enter daily. “

Talk about a job that could be laid off.. what a joke and probably millions a year in comp.

Raise your hand if you are tired of TB. Enough is enough!

TK just a disaster. Too busy jet setting and social media posting to know what she needs to. Funny she can say we want to be the employer of choice then say but we need you to waste hours per day going to office. Makes sense

I tried to listen at 1.5 speed to minimize the pain. But when they recognized a qu--r leader that was enough. What a cluster WFC is.

The great fresh "talent" they hire is solely JP Morgan throw aways. Really question if this now Leadership team is looking for innovation and that they are able to think out of the only box the know ....JP Morgan.

I just can't believe we have fallen so far on the tech side. We really need someone that knows tech at this time.

I have so many questions about this. First, what external conversations? Are they reading this website? Then, the description of the rto described as something some people may not like because it’s asking people to change behavior. Uh- I guess that’s one way to put it. A total make yourself a victim description. And the comments on Linked In, eye roll. Such phony virtue signaling

Never attend and don't care as whatever they say is useless corporate b.s.

Each day that I don't have to hear or see communications from management is a win.

Candor is just a word CS and his minions use to mean "I'm going to use inappropriate / hateful language towards others and justify it by saying it was candor."

Does "external commentary" mean anonymous outside emails, probably from internal employees?

by
| | Reply
Post ID: @vpy+1nVxuYi4

So apparently "external commentary" (here perhaps?) was made about her personally - se-ual identity, se-ual orientation, etc.

Any comments like that are disgusting and whatever her status on that front is irrelevant. No person should be subject to that. They should be judged on their behavior and performance-- that's it.

Now, it's fair game to criticize decisions and "rules for thee, but not me" behavior like having low span of control or remote only people (Yes, it is possible they have an accommodation). And it sure is fair to criticize a very myopic policy aimed at tech and equating them with branch or call center people.

@ccr+1nVxuYi4

You're confused about the objective. The entire purpose of RTO is to convince people to resign without getting a severance. That's it. There's no other silver lining or benefits. They want you to quit, and they reaaaaally don't care if it negatively impacts anything. I know this RTO thing is new for tech, but take it from the rest of us that have been doing it for a year and a half, that's why they are doing this and the BS won't stop until we hit the # of employees they are shooting for and Charlie leaves.

Don't waste any time or effort trying to figure out "what's the point?!"

So what was this "candor" towards Tali? Why even mention it if you're not going to say what happened? That said, TB was the messenger and shouldn't have been.

Town halls get more and more useless as we go along. My life is definitely more complete now that I know about the OCs and their choice of footwear.

But hey, at least it's a 90 minute paid break...

Poor Tali -- TK should have sent the message herself instead of being all over the globe.

And no, tech is not the same as branch or call center. We don't ALL NEED to be in the office all the time.

Thought I would take a break from work and take a look at the town hall. On just long enough to see [whoever it is?] answer the question 'what's been your best day at WF so far'.... only to hear, 'this is going to sound weird, but the day Charlie asked us to go back to the office.'

WOW. Immediately closed the browser. Cannot even believe this place is real...
