I have heard this, point blank from several directors whom are close friends of mine. If your salary is too high relative to your peers regardless of your titles, you are a target for getting inconsistently meets rating. The BS rationale guidance from HR is to just use the language of “heightened expectations”. Can we legally getaway with this?

If IC at year-end review your bonus will be greatly reduced and minimal raise, if any at all!

I got mine for not getting 3 days in office a couple times. Manager wasn't concerned. You can bring it up at year-end review.

Oh no, not your permanent record! What is this? Kindergarten?

Just remember that no one notices when a lazy person takes it easy one day but everyone loses their minds when a hard working employee does.

You are not eligible for any raise or bonus if you are inconsistently meets.

You will be one of the first group of people to get laid off when your department downsizes. Even if you survive a little while, it will be in your permanent record, and will prevent you from getting promotion or getting another job at WF. And, like another poster said, it will negatively impact your salary and bonus.

I did and it’s so far not as bad as I thought it would feel, can’t really speak to long term yet.
