Hey just go to the other banking blog posts on this board. In fact, this is what I did during the job hunt. You won't see the issues that Wells has. Wells is becoming the least stable and most outsourced environment in the banks.

says the guy acting like he's on the elementary school playground. What's next, 'my dad can beat up your dad'? Make a substantive arguement. Or continue to embarrass yourself, either way works for me.

As expected, a 70-IQ comeback.

While a new job may not pay what Wells did, this is still a great time to look for a job. There's 9.8 million open jobs in America:

https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/job-offers

and only 6.0 million unemployed Americans looking for jobs:

https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/empsit.pdf

So that's nearly 4 million more openings than people who are looking for work and more importantly, a lot of long-term unemployed people aren't in the skilled labor pool. If you work / worked for WF you probably had at least a decent skillset of some kind, so that's nearly 10 million job openings you can be applying for.

Accept you may need to take a big pay cut in some cases but the flip side is nearly all companies are lower stress and fewer layoffs per year than Wells Fargo now.

I learned from the worst, hardest way that quant groups in banking are mostly from China. They eliminate competitions.

But many outside STEM jobs are offshored to India, or given to them as H1B. While t is maybe better, I don't know what is really left for me.
