We can hear you ordering at the drive through, yelling to/at your kids, driving and talking, etc. But you live in a hub, so you get to keep your job. This place will surely have a tough time once the real talent is displaced. Some people may have to do some actual work! And a lot of it.

People have to pick up their kids you know! They use their cell to call in for scheduled meetings/training sometimes. Management seems to allow this?
Why would I use my cell phone for Teams meetings when I want it to be free for surfing pR0n? Seriously, why should the work around for correctly functioning equipment be that I have to use anything personal? You are providing false assertions that everything is ok. Malicious compliance if needed. I’m provided X to use so that is what I will use. If the effects are not as desired then it’s out of my hands.
You can be terminated for cause if you use your cell phone for work without it being an approved BYOD. It's covered in the annual training and in enterprise email reminders.
They are watching personal cell usage, even checking autosignatures.
Don't give WF a reason to terminate you.
I never use VDI audio.. always have it call my cell phone. much better audio and never any issues. It's also easier to walk around my house or in my car since I am remote.
Who uses VDI audio for Teams? Seriously. Have it call your cell phone so you can have control and better audio.
One thing about this... VDI and Teams have the occasional bit flip where the Jabra hardware is muted but Teams thinks it isn't, so Teams keeps "muting" the hardware with its software mute which unmutes the hardware. When this happens, Teams shows you muted, hardware shows you unmuted, and everyone can hear you.
VDI is full of enjoyable undocumented features.
Rather hear the occasional dog bark etc. from someone WFH than the noise from a loud office in the background. At least with the former I don't have to hear a bunch of cuck drones.
Please don't make employees hang on your boring conference room chats where 20 people talk at once and you can't bear a thing as you aren't in the room and have no idea if its idle chit chat or something on the agenda you insist on and then never follow as you like to be in command and talk about your prior experience with other firms (if timeswere so good, why did you leave?). Have key people attend in person as it serves no purpose beyond feeding your massive ego that you have your staff on the phone for most of the day. Learn to micromanage less and take notes as there aren't secretaries anymore to do your work.
This will be another failed strategy like many before it. Remember spans and layers? How about RTO?
