Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

State of SPS SST?

I was in HGAS but left quite some time ago as the situation was getting out of control. I have had a soft contact about a potential return in a much elevated position but have no trust in the promises made and I will not go back if they still play the same old games. What is the current state, is it as bad as I have heard? Told that the AST merge was the final nail. Is there any sign of change, I know portables are a write off now but Fixed must be still be ok? Unfortunately most of my trusted colleagues have left or were let go so I have few insider contacts I can go to whilst remaining discrete.

AST and HGAS are a disaster right now, you would hate yourself if you came back.
Layoffs are definitely coming, lots of funny business in the last year and the general feeling that a major shake up is on it's way. It ain't looking good.

@1wcg+1nP5TMdv This is true, for the past 2 or 3 years they have been employing the most unqualified, hopeless, talentless sacks of sh1te. During the pandemic they gutted HGAS and when you sit in calls with these id1ots you wonder if it is all intentional.

Sounds like you've tasted Honeyhell septic tank, SPS, yet you believe things will change. Some customers made the mistake of installing HON products or incorporating HON sensors into their design (Fixed and AST) and we treated them to multiple price increases. Once these customers design new products they will move on. Even if you are offered that fat boss lady's position, do not take it as they will offer you a big imaginary bonus and cut you out before you receive it

HGAS is completley broken, that is all I can say. The attrition has been unreal and some extreme clowns in the circus now :(
