Please tell me someone recorded it! Nothing like a winnable age discrimination lawsuit in your back packet.
JS was right. There are too many deadweights still milking AT&T for doing nothing. Agree there are few good ones but majority of them can be easily replaced with young energetic folks at lower salaries.
Age is a protected class, as is race, gender, se-ual orientation, etc.
It is just as illegal to target for layoffs based on age as it is for race.
I'm floored. We all knew this was the strategy, but for him to basically put that out there and try to pave it over as some type of DEI/ESG initiative. I think I am convinced the best course of action is to leave this place ASAP.
