Does anyone know when the next round of major layoffs will happen? Myself and others are hoping to get laid off and a severance package.

August 8th and 22nd. It's always 60 days before the close of a payroll period, or you could look at it this way: the Tuesday after each payday is a layoff day.
@mrg+1nN6ia71 Agreed!!! It would be bittersweet since I still need to work a couple of years before I can get Medicare--but I would gladly work at Trader Joe's to supplement my severance package
