Could it be that 6 months from now, T will reverse course and allow more work flexibility? Not after all the damage has been done. No way I'd stay with the company even if they did. I will look towards other employers that have given up on RTO

Why do some people equate working with going into the office? I work a lot less now that I daily spend a portion of my day: commuting, slogging in from parking that's blocks away from the building, wandering around the building looking for my reserved seat next to bunch of strangers, logging into a reservation system and trying to find a spot to work at in 14 days. Only then can I put on my personal not company bought but company recommended noise cancelling headphones and begin to work amongst the rows of strangers at my table also with noise cancelling headphones to block out all those Teams calls. Stankey chose suffering, er I mean 'collaboration', over productivity in order to save a few bucks on severance packages. Oh well. Yea. I'll "work' now that I'm in the office but way this company implemented RTO I work a LOT less on actual productive to the bottom line work. Thank you John Orwell

I liked tall cubicles better than closed door offices. I would welcome a TALL cubicle work environment if I was surrounded by co-workers with the same agenda.

Having technical people work in an open floor plan is about like having everyone show up at the local park and sit at picnic tables. Time is split between working and listening to other’s conversations. “What did your VP say?”

Never thought I’d say this: Bring back cubicles and sit work groups together! Sales, coders, engineers. BAU.

RTO is about the equivalent as having to clean airplane latrines in Thule, Greenland. Sure the Four Star General is pi---d because it is taking you so long to pump out the toilet, but where is he going to send your butt to punish you? Your already doing the worst job in the worst possible place.

They are probably playing, “follow the leader” in Texas. Even though the leaders say, “Do as I say but not as I do” . You know, those kind of leaders, they lead from the rear.

Why is T paying these people when they will not return to the office? This is not right.

Well the tracking dashboards are almost done. People can choose to go to the office or not.

Please track my lan, my swipes all you want. You will not track my brain, or any new idea or anything that requires me to solve anything. Good luck....

Yeah, I don't want to come in and actually have to work either.

Sounds like HQ needs to move to Atlanta where people know to get back to the office as told.

If you don’t want to work it’s time to leave.

If that’s the case , they won’t reach their attrition goals quickly enough. The surplus tempo will significantly increase much sooner than later.

Well.. attendance had to be reduced. They reduced it down to 2 days for most teams in ATS just so the building could actually fit people.

RTO is just going to be a series of compromises until its 2025 and we're right back to "okay come in whenever it makes sense and dont talk about how much money we wasted on this initiative and its overhead"

Attendance is down at Dallas and Atlanta. The big crowds are dwindling
