Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Mad Money Host Jim Cramer says,

AT&T: "Walk away from it. That company is as poorly managed as any company I've ever seen in my lifetime."

Not really news, reduced stock, dividends, market cap, benefits and quarterly layoffs are all the proof one needs.

As someone stated, a blind hog finds an acorn every once in awhile. Jim told the truth for once or at least was paid to tell it.

We need to bring someone in and clean house. Start from new. Get rid of all the old stuff.

why would anyone doubt Cramer when everyone is on here night and day, day and night saying the same thing and employees have front row seats

I agree, Cramer is usually a shill and one should do the opposite of what he says on trades. This is one time he got it right about upper management, as someone said earlier, “He is singing to the choir”, sing on Jim, sing on!

As the late Jerry Clower famously said in one of his stories, it was about a hunter up in a tree with a raccoon and neither one could get away. “Haaa! Shoot up amongst us, one of us has to have some relief”. I feel like that coming to work a lot of days lately, wondering what is going to negatively impact our customers, my team or myself today and when am I going to have relief? The easiest answer is to leave, is the grass greener? Certainly can’t be much more toxic or depressing than staying. Thing that make one go, Hmmm…

Hmm, those dissing Cramer. He is saying the same thing most employees on this board are saying. Senior management is a joke and has run the company intk the ground. Yet when Cramer says it, it’s a problem. He is singing to the choir…

A sign of a poorly run company is top management — who are directly the cause of AT&T’s collapse — fire the peons and stay on.

Yes, those who caused the company’s problems are still employed but tens of thousands need to go because of their utter incompetence.

Cramer ain’t wrong on the mis-management part, but for him to say walk away is a buy signal. Watch the stock pop until earnings released, then it will tank again.

When T put out the word they were cutting their dividend by 50%, they buried the news in an earnings release and conveyed it by saying what % of free cash flow would go to the dividend in the next quarter - so you as an investor had to do the math to figure out it was a 50% cut.
When management did that, Cramer put Stevenson and Stanley in his ‘wall of shame’ which includes other notable leaders such as Jeff Skilling (Enron) https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2021/05/20/jim-cramer-adds-att-ceo-to-wall-of-shame-thanks-for-nothing.html

Jim Cramer is a proven id--t. It’s usually turns out best to do opposite of what he says.

Haha, Cramer is always using reverse psychology tricks on his viewers.
But, as he says this, AT&T stock is up. Probably because of the JD Power award?
Which is pretty much a fake, corrupt awarding system to manipulate consumers.

Lol, whatever Cramer says you’re supposed to do the opposite. Like someone said above, he has the anti-Midas touch.

Unbelievable. There it is. The truth for all of America to see.

Cramer has his critics but he’s got the prime time spot and people do listen.

Cramer is usually wrong but a blind pig does find an acorn once in a while. Cramer is right on here. I guess ATT didn't pay Cramer enough to falsely pump up the company.

Not a fan of T but Cramer is like the anti-Midas touch. If he's saying walk away, you should do the opposite. Don't believe me? Look at his track record. 😂

Cramer has not liked AT&T for years. He did start warming up when he had the Stink on 2 months before selling Time Warner. The morning they announced that deal, Cramer crucified AT&T. Then he did it that night and the again next morning.

He said the Stink lied to him. That’s pretty strong words.

I almost down voted this as fake news because Cramer liked T for the dividend in the past but then saw the recap from yesterday’s show. All I can say is wow. These harsh words are true, everyone sees the failure here.
