Exempt employees = not bound by a collective bargaining agreement = managers
Non-exempt = bound by a collective bargaining agreement = union employees

Looks like my decision to leave the Death Star in 2018 was a very wise one. Even after 15 years, I found a better life after AT&T. Good luck everyone. Remember, there is a better life around the corner.
It’s a two way road but the company is DUI.
Destruction of the middle class has long been a goal of the egomaniacal globalists. Unfortunately, they’ve had a great deal of “success” implementing this pernicious plan.
"BUT if you perceive that voting for a party"
Your stupid politics don't belong here. But since you brought them here - we all know you are one of those fools who believes in 14 genders, then has the gall to talk about science.
Management isn’t ALLOWED to unionize- thats why we they gave us the job title called ‘managers’ (and yet manage no one. )
False. National Labor Relations Act defines a manager as someone who "makes employment decisions about other workers, including hiring, firing, or promoting." Majority of L1 and L2 employees do not fall into that category.
AT&T calling their software engineers "managers" amounts to nothing. It really only serves to mislead employees into thinking they don't qualify for protection under NLRA.
The only thing stopping office workers from unionizing is their silly pride.

Because the US is an oligarchy, not a democracy.
The US is dominated by a rich and powerful elite.
economic elites and organised groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on US government policy, while average citizens and mass-based interest groups have very little or no independent influence. 0%
Employees are being run off the road because some of us refuse to UNITE and form a UNION. If you are a white-collar employee, the "Powers that Be" try to instill within you that the word "UNION" is a bad word.
The truth is that most salaried employees have benefited from the strides of the UNIONs. We would NOT have a modern middle class without UNIONs.
The current partisanship is a real threat. If you are at HQ in Texas, you've probably been living with 100 degrees of heat for multiple days. Folks get so caught up in culture wars that they forgot common sense.
The benefit of living in a democracy is that you DO get to vote for what is in YOUR best interest. BUT if you perceive that voting for a party that doesn't believe in science, doesn't believe in climate change, and dismisses UNIONs in favor of trickle-down economics for billionaires, then you are the one who is truly selling your soul and children's futures for nothing in return.
Employees got paid. Good pay, good benefits. That's my street.
It feels that way because a lot of employees took advantage of T for many years. Now that T is finally reigning managers in, there is a lot of resistance.
Because, not once, when you voted for the next representative for your district in the US House of Representatives did you ask the candidate if they would stop offshoring jobs. You voted for them because they had a D or R behind their name, and that was the only reason you voted for them.
Cuz they CAN offload, offshore, contract,Re-badge,Hi-B, jobs to TechMahindra

paying 1/10th of what they pay employees in usa
Because they were asleep at the wheel! T employees knew very well what was coming down the pike, yet most chose to stay and ride it out to see where this goes. With $135B in debt and the quarterly numbers going down, you should have left when you saw the writing on the wall. It's not an easy thing to do if you're in for 15-20 years or longer, but it's the right thing to do. Leave, get out while you still have your dignity intact! Don't let T be your puppet master, chose your own destiny and control your own life! Stankey totally ph--ked up this company beyond all recognition! Are you gonna let him manage your lives?
because there are 100 qualified applicants for every 1 middle class job in America. when corporations are allowed to acquire & merge with potential competitors this ELIMINATES a ton of middle class jobs
Because we’ve run out runway.
