"It is the right thing to do."
How so? You make it sound down right immoral to allow wfh.
"Companies Requiring Full-Time In-Office Are Struggling to Recruit New Employees" (Title of linked article)
I don't have to read it. Joke's on them; T isn't trying to recruit new employees. They're trying to thin the herd.
Which “network monitoring metrics”?
The article has nothing to do with Apple. Clearly some didn’t read it before commenting. This may explain why some of you work at AT&T.
A lot of the companies that have forced RTO are already reverting back to more WFH due to loss of productivity and added cost of RTO. Funny how we are always last when it comes to things. All the sycophant executives are follow the leaders. Used to be Jobs now they follow Musk.
Network monitoring metrics have continued to show too much productivity loss overall when workers telecommute full-time. WFH was never meant to be a substitute for daycare, elderly care or household maintenance. Those complaining the most about returningto the office are often the worst abusers.
Not at all. Most companies are requiring RTO. It is the right thing to do.
Maybe if you’re a top notch software engineer writing code you can bounce back home. We don’t have that kind of leverage
Doesn’t feel like it.
Can't compare T with Apple, are you insane?
Is like comparing Carmen Ekectra with Hillary Clinton
Which one would you choose?
Funny, Apple is forcing their workers back to the office too.
