Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Why we have to blame JS for our failure? The guy doing his best, and we are complaining about going back to office

You are the problem, not JS

WANT MORAL TO IMPROVE? JS pay yourself $1 per year intil T is on solid ground. Then others will be less bitter. You already have over $100 million in prior pay. Join the rank & file nervous workforce.

Stankey and Randy are both a joke but they have the last laugh walking away with nice golden parachutes! The board is worthless and hasn’t been so their job ethically since we got our as--s handed to us by the tMobile give away!! Many should have been fired then Randy and his head bopper direct reports which includes Stankey and the old CFO. !!

You’re a mo--n Kool-Aid drinker! Stankey and Randy were behind these deals along with pushing all the work to fixed bid vendors who essentially took our expertise! Anyone that thinks RTO is for villa is a fool. Just a reason to justify cuts. This will not bring new customers or keep existing customers. Period. ! Wake the F up. !!

Give it a rest Stanky. At least use your name in your posts. And you are not 100% at fault. You share that blame with Randell.

Let us assume you are correct and he is trying his best. It's not good enough. His best has cost tens of thousands of employees their careers. His best has cost inventors billions of dollars on bad strategies and acquisitions. His best is tanking the company.

I had to laugh at the Ops comment. It has to be sarcasm because no one could be that stupid to believe that

OP, are you saying that all the problems, failures and debt of T are a result of letting everyone WFH past few years? And that all the problems will be solved and the stick piece will soar if we RTO? Get real

I see the comments on fiber and yes AT&T does have a good product. They are not priced well on dedicated services and their deployment and project management are notoriously awful. So when you look at the three reasons people buy 1)reliability 2) customer service 3) price AT&T loses at two of those three. They continue to outsource care and project management and it gets worse and worse. Until they become a company that is easier to business with their share will error. Your brand only holds so much water with the consumer.

The failure is and was directv, digital life and our current streaming product - who name will change every six months. Stick with what works, mobility and fiber - both products that are simple, and people will always need them and we already have the infrastructure. These stupid ventures on digital life and " content " with DTV and HBO Time Warner were all failed ventures that any normal homosapien could see are and were failures. We are paying for our mistakes.

HIS Primary responsibility of fiduciaries is to run the company solely in the interest of participants and beneficiaries and for the exclusive purpose of providing benefits to investors.

You job is not part of this mandate.

CEO'S must act prudently and must diversify THEIR CORE offerings the in order to minimize the risk of large losses.

I’m not the one who saddled the company with a 120 billion in debt on bad investments. So no. It’s not my fault.
