Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

When is BOD going to vote to terminate Stankey?

How low does the stock need to go before BOD addresses the problem?

I think there is more of a chance the BOD will give Stankey extra compensation for his effort than to terminate him. The guy is a total failure though!!

This BOD is beyond inept. Voting JS out before the earnings call next week is not going to happen. Let the stock take another hit, or market cap drop below $100B, and they may, just may, consider it. But the real question is who comes in? It was proven three years ago that there is not a list of execs externally lined up on Akard St that want to be CEO. Why do you think they fell back and gave JS the role? It was a last resort during a time of indecision and concern. Elliot knew this and pulled their $3.2B out before it could get screwed up even more. Recall in 2019 when stock was in mid-$30’s that they thought it should be in the $60’s by the end of 2022.

Forget any of the DR’s that are already inside - that would send employee morale and investor confidence even lower than it currently is.

Who would want the job? I say that and yet there were at least 5 people that interviewed to be the head coach of the Detroit Lions so I guess it’s all about ego and throwing enough money at someone who thinks they have all the answers.

But there definitely needs to be SOMETHING, and it needs to be NOW. Absentee leadership recently is not an answer. Leave your 1/4 zip sweater-vest, buzz words, and cute PowerPoints at home because mutiny is on the horizon.

The atrocious BOD & sociopath “Skunkey” need termination asap. Otherwise, it further confirms this is all “by design”.

Sad, but true. Not one of the AT&T Executives at the top is worth a damn. If they were worth anything at all, there would be no dumpster fire RTO initiative. Stock would be at a decent level.

Instead, Stankey couldn't understand why Wall Street didn't understand his plan for 2023. Stock is near all time lows. The only strategy to bring up stock price, lay off employees.

Worthless Executive team. 10 people under Stankey, and not one idea aside from LayOff

The BOD will never fire Stankey and give up their perks!

What would they fire him? He's their little lap dog and they're still making money off of his failures.

He should have never had the job in the first place. Stink and that id--t Randy should have been fired 14 years ago for the T- Mo F up!

About $10. Then some of the institutional funds will cut their losses and sell. Then T Stock goes to $8 then to $5. I never thought I would see this happen. Yet here we are.

The board needs to be wiped out. Management needs to be replaced.
