When will T do the right thing and allow those that prefer to leave the company, volunteer to leave and accept the severance pay that they're supposedly entitled to. It would make life so much easier for those that would like to remain employed with T. It would also help T get those people off payroll much faster than the process in place now. This company has always been a$$ backwards in its poor management styrle!

Agree to accept severance. At that time, your primary job becomes finding a new one. When you do with another company, keep your PC up all day, be sparse in your responses, and double dip that chip!

We were told those that don’t accept will be put on a list, the company will determine when each employee can be let go with severance. Limited numbers each quarter to control cost. People could wait weeks to months if not longer for their severance.

Legg said his impact for wave 1 is 700 or so employees so I think they will do the surpluses pretty quick, wave 2 should be a sh-t show so that may get delayed

They're not going to make a move until it is clear to them that they haven't bitten off more than they can chew.

Plans can change.

We were told it would be shortly after the deadline so I guess October makes sense, December doesn't at all but then again nothing makes sense at at&t
