Primary Residence vs Reporting City

Seams to be contradiction in whether or not your primary residence must be 50 miles or less from the assigned office vs just the RTO reporting date. HR is to get back to me. Anyone ask or get any clarity to this?

"Yes union people have to show an active address of 50 miles or less"

Maybe in your district but mine.

The company doesn't care where we live as long as we are on time every day and leave on time. Their official statement was: You chose to live where you live. How you get to work on time is your choice and not our responsiblity.

Everyone should get an rv and line up in front of ackard street in Dallas. There’s not any good deals on houses there anyway.

Yes union people have to show an active address of 50 miles or less before accepting a transfer. We do things different.

In a previous effort at this, they did enforce 50 miles. Beyond that required 6th level approval.

50 mile change from your current webphone work address to your new work address.

If you are located more than 50 miles from your designated office you qualify for severance.

In my state, you can't even ask if a person owns a vehicle, only if they can get to the office reliably and on time. I seriously doubt they could dictate where you live, as long as you show up.

Honestly I think that only matters if you get relocation money I believe it’s a stipulation of the policy

They can’t dictate that you live within 50 miles of your office. That is up to you how far you commute.

We are not city employees, police, or volunteer fire/fire department. T can not dictate where you live. My Chicago commute is 65 miles by train. This after a position change from Richardson Texas to downtown Chicago Illinois. No company relocation funding.

Just use 1100 Cadiz Street, Dallas, 75215 as your address. It's the closest homeless shelter to Akard and about 4 minutes away.

Clarity?

From the executives at T?

Sure. You may as well ask for an orange tree to give you cherries. In fact, you'd have better luck with that.
