Rumor has it that Stank has a birthday coming up, and he's too old to run AT&T. Not that he was qualified to begin with. His charge was to clean up Randall's mess and leave. Well, he's about to lose the better half of 60,000 employees with his recent misdirected excuse for a forced layoff. Does he actually think 45k+ people will move to one of nine locations? Yeah, good luck buddy! No, he may be an id--t, but he not d-mb. He's betting on the entire 60k to quit. Then, he'll get his golden parachute and "retire" next year. He's a real PoS!

The dude is set for life money wise. No need for a guy making 20+ million for years to wait until 65 to retire. Don't know if the OP is correct, but he can walk any time he likes.

I'd say there's no need for anyone to mess with either, since they've both done a wonderful job of messing themselves up.
And the idea that Stink will leave voluntarily after this is laughable. He'll call it a success, bask in his accomplishment, and demand a greater bonus for meeting one of his KPIs. Stink is here as long as the BoD continues to reward incompetence.
The next guy to replace Stink maybe even worse, like the Legg guy.

You want some change then go read Industrial Society and Its Future and live in the woods because it isn't happening in our lifetime without a total system collapse. What comes after will be much worse, but that won't happen. We have just the right amount of corruption for it not to.
