Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Will they succeed at it?

If one of the main behind-the-scenes goals of RTO is to motivate as many people as possible to leave, I wonder to what extent they will succeed at it? Unfortunately, I still haven't been able to land anything better.

You have to laugh at the number of shills Dallas has turned loose on this board to denigrate those with real complaints about the preposterously bad decisions the company is making. I wonder of message board shilling is a Dallas or ATL function? I am guessing they contract that out.

"They will ultimately succeed in driving out the ones they most desperately need to retain"

No words spoken truer. I have seen the decay with my own eyes these past 2 years. Do you all remember the last big push to get people out with retirement benefits? Do you all see what happened? Nothing gets done, things take forever to complete. There is nobody that is an expert anymore.

It's not about motivation, it's really putting people into a position where they don't have a choice. So will people leave? Yes. Moving across the country in today's market is an insane proposition, for a vast majority of people. Market data backs it up.

Who would have thought it would be that difficult to get AT&T workers to actually work for their pay.

How about workers actually working instead of doing personal business during company time?
