Well, I can see them using this to say (once again) - we probably could have done a better job communicating this to the employees. I can also see them saying they have listened to us and are going to pause the RTO, or at least the Relo portion based on the feedback received (but we know the real reason is they bit off more than they could chew)
I think it is embarrassing they sent this survey asking what topics you feel uninformed about and had the gall to list RTO and Surplus as two of the items to select. It is if they have no conscience. Perhaps the transparency / trust mumbo jumbo they toss around constantly should have been asked also.
To ask if your supervisor keeps you informed, when considering RTO and Surplus, is a joke. Nothing like a loaded question to have your manager tossed under the bus. Ours specifically told us he was told not to share anything discussed on these two topics.
Where is the Mockingjay when you need her?
The only action ever taken on surveys is that line management is told to come up with response plans. Which is insane because anything the staff is pi---d off about, we are too, and not a thing we can do to change it.
I guess we're supposed to tell you all that you don't understand and everything is great.
I don't think I was ever cynical enough to even try that. I'm sure not now.
And it includes L1 - L4!!! Seriously? AT&T is opening a survey including Directors and AVPs to provide feedback on communication? Embarrassing and further illustrates the disfunction.
The surveys are not anonymous, they can see what business unit you're a part of at the very least. And from past experience, I know leadership gets pretty chaffed when the rank and file criticize their policies and actions on these surveys. Answer truthfully at your own risk.
I don’t understand why people don’t want to go to work (RTO)! This is what you have done for many years prior to the Ch&$a stuff.
When and where is these new surveys being sent out?
These 'surveys' are merely a lollipop the executives give the employees - a thing that tries to make the rank-and-file feel as if they have some say in what happens, but which in reality is just a glob of sugar - completely devoid of nutrition - used to keep people mollified while Stink and Co do what they want.
Your answers don't matter other than if people simply check positive boxes out of fear of retribution, executives can then crow about their great scores, even if they are totally phony.
Good reminder that these surveys have never been anonymous.
Not an anonymous survey, they must need names for the layoff call
Surveys are pointless, it's just another checklist HR has on their To do to appear relevant, but ultimately management just shrugs and follows whatever it thinks will make the street happy, and at the moment that's an RTO policy disguised as a work force reduction.
I'm pretty sure att knows employees are unhappy about rto and relocation. Survey responses on that are redundant.
They don’t care about survey results, although it does seem to irritate them when nobody does them, which is why I never do them.
