Being in a hub city is no guarantee you will have a job when the dust settles. Some people in hub cities will be forced to relo to get the majority of the team in consolidated offices.

I attended Stankey meeting in person, meeting only open to GMs. Most questions were asked by VPs and senior VPs. He addressed his mandate to come back to office. Questions were submitted prior to call.
Regarding his mandate to come back to office, he said the company is in state of atrophy as employees are not learning new things and are not good at starting new projects, they can just keep the lights on. He is trying to make sure he keeps it ready for future. He referred to employees around the country as turds on his desk and he is trying to fix that for his successor so they are all in one place. He said this is because of prior mergers and has to be changed now for the new company we are.
He does not want to travel to many locations just a few to manage core groups.
He did talk about his Jersey he got from some golfer Justin Spieth or someone named that. Jeremy Legg was there and tried to act like a clown and cheerleader
