This is what you wind up with. Folks it is over and ATT is in the early stages of a salvage liquidation operation. 15 years of terrible management and performance have led to this. The latest bt Stankey with his RTO execution will further drain the already declining performance. Zero attempt to segment the employee base by performance and skills. Fat, Skinny, and Muscular livestock will all be sla-ghtered indiscriminately to get the herd down to a number. I would suggest all employees simply shut down and make it as difficult as possible for Stankey to execute his Fire Sale and Cash Out. Or you could go ahead and be a loyal soldier and still run into Jimmy Conway.

I’ve seen many a misstep in 30 years but this tops them all. Stankey may very well succeed in burning the place down this time and he’s motivating his POWs to fan the flames from inside.

Skankey likely thought of the idea over the weekend before the email. Then on Monday he drafted his edict. Then Tuesday, email is sent and ALL culture at AT&T is nuked. No recovery as long as Skankey is at the helm.

The man has had a career of disasters and that is the nicest and best thing that can be said about him.

Too bad they COULDN’T BE HONEST and told us about this policy LAST YEAR when those that have 20+ years could have left last year BEFORE they lost $200-$300k+ in their lump sum!

Wach how productivity will decline. No motivation to go above for those who are not relocating. So many benefits were taken from us that it does not even makes sense to stay here.
