Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Diversity, EQUITY, and Inclusion - Justice?

I embrace a diverse workplace that hires for MERIT and EXPERIENCE from a broad base of talent from throughout the U.S.
I also believe that it should reflect the U.S. demographics as long as those hire meet the criteria of MERIT and EXPERINCE.
With the 2020 census show the Black population to be 10-12% of the U.S. population, Why are they overly hired? Example: The Technology Teams under A. Varasso - T. Wise and T. Parks exceedingly unbalanced in their diversity mix. Check it out.

U.S. version of Apartheid - where official policy of racial segregation is enforced via political, corporate, legal, and economic discrimination against whites.

DEI = Dale Earnhardt Incorporated… any other use is strictly prohibited by applicable laws. A certain class of people will eternally need assistance, no matter how many of the goofy social justice programs are force fed on the productive class.

Saying blacks built this country is like saying a John Deere tractor designed and grew the crops.
No, the master used the equipment to make it work. There is not one predominantly black neighborhood in the country that is nice. Look into Freedom Georgia initiatives now, they haven’t done squat on the three or four years they have lived there but try to grift people into giving more.
They did a Juneteenth special on them last year and they had one small structure built out of pallets.
You go on YouTube and see dozens of videos of whites making a thriving culture in one year. Now Orania in South Africa is thriving while the rest of the country is devolving rapidly.
I will never accept that blacks have the capacity to build anything useful for society. It would have been proven by now. All some can do is destroy.

Diversity is the absence of white people, that is why it is a sham.
There could be a 100% black team, and DEI id--ts will call it diverse.
The real joke is that it really only focuses on one race, the one that needs a hand at every step of the way.
Let’s not forget whites are around 11% of the world population yet we built the best civilizations that many do not deserve to be a part of today. They have proven they do not hold up their end of the contract for a peaceful society.

I have never once looked at a group of people and thought "whoa, there's way to many (insert group here)" or "whoa, there's not enough (insert group here)". If you have, you're probably racist, or at least judging people based on skin color instead of content/character.

You are only worth what you can contribute and skin color adds nothing unless you need a dr-g dealer or pi-p cast in Starsky and Hutch or Baretta.

I don't even think about the DEI crowd. That entire mindset and language makes one weak and soft, nothing more than denial. An entitled mind is dead weight. Focus on self mastery.

Equity != Equality… it means making race part of decision making which is exactly what MLK was against.

@wsx+1n2eVr1G - WTF....Equality does not = Equality. Get out of here - you are wanting something for nothing....you ARE a racist in the purist sense of the word.

I am dam proud that my race created the best country on the Phukin planet without question. We can’t keep the brown freeloaders from jumping the border any chance they get. Yeah, we’re doing a terrible job as racists. How many blacks fled to the homeland since it’s so dam racist and unfair here? Didn’t think so.

@uts nobody is asking you to atone for the sins of your ancestors. Everyone is asking you to stop denying that structural racism exists.

Leveling opportunities to people held back isn't any form of negative '-ism', it's fairness.

@lft+1n2eVr1G that's exactly the problem with DIE mandates. it reduces people to a surface level identity. it's dehumanizing.

If you are using terms like "White CIS Male" you are part of the problem. Work hard, don't do dr-gs. Don't be a d-mb ar-e & fall into the wrong crowd. Study hard at school, get as good of grades as you can. If you are struggling, ask for help, but don't rely 100% on others doing things for you. If you are part of a welfare lineage, work to get yourself out of it. I did - it can be done. But requires effort and dedication on your part. There are more help programs out there for minorities than there are for poor white folks.
You won't automatically be at the same level as people who've worked hard their entire lives to get where they are - and that shouldn't be the expectation.

It’s fascinating that so many dum a$$ blacks forget all the whites fighting the civil war to end slavery and provide equality afterwards. And, No, this country was built by whites with a genius vision and purpose, not a labor class. Harvesting crops and picking cotton did not make our country great.

It is fascinating to watch straight white privileged men, who have a propensity to hire and promote only other straight white privileged men, preach DE&I.

Charlie Scharf isn’t going to be the CEO who convinces people to change their belief systems, no matter how many diversity quotas he initiates. It’s like listening to Harvey Weinstein preach about women’s rights.
