Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Executives in Alpharetta next week

I’ve noticed every time executives have visited a location, over the last few months, it becomes a hub and/or a target of being closed. Thoughts of why they would visit Alpharetta?

400 NP is/was set up for meetings. That may be the only reason it was picked.

300 Northpoint Alpharetta will always be an active AT&T location. It is a strategic location for the DOD department of defense. In the back are motor generators the have the capacity to power the city of Alpharetta and do so when being tested. My elderly neighbor was an AT&T executive who oversaw the construction of 300/400/500 NP in the late 70’s early 80’s. Enjoy working there your at ground zero should there ever be an attack.

Alpharetta is already out of space for those currently assigned to it. I've heard they are 40% short on space. They can't move/add more folks as that would make it worse.

Execs should only be traveling using the same levels of relocation assistance most L2 and L3 managers will receive.

Lots of people want Alpharetta over Lenox. Execs will have to figure out who gets what.

I wish Stankey and some the board would just croak too. Would do so many people a world of good. But Stankey is Number 1 so a plane crash would be nice. Maybe the maintenance crew and mechanics are long ATT options.

“If their corporate jet happens to crash the stock will jump past $20 immediately.”

What a horrible thing to even think, let alone put in writing. You are a horrible person.

There isn't enough space at 754 Peachtree, and Alpharetta could serve a lot of people north of the I285 loop. Just conjecture, though.
