Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Used to be rare, not so much anymore

Have you noticed how more people than ever want to get paid to get out of here and do whatever it takes to get on the layoff list? Terrible.

New young employees won't stay for more than 5-8 years. It's no longer our grandfather and parents times where you join HON and wish and serve till your last golden years breathe. HON will make use of every opportunity to give you a bronze handshake meaning giving you much lesser redundant package sum than what you actually worth. Until the last, HON still wants to take EVERYTHING and not give you full, lesser than half to be precise. Don't choke on your food Mr. CEO

Hello HW uppers, new people aren’t staying either because HW can’t be competitive enough with their pay and benefits . It’s a revolving door for this company now because they can’t retain employees. Only people staying are old grandfathered into the pension . Really sad….

No i dont.
Mostly i see people want to be paid for EVERYTHING.
Working, not working, boo-boos, insults, typos in email, commute time,
that time my great grandfather sold swamp land that eventually became worth something, bad student loan decisions

Younger people are also looking to leave. People who have only been here for 6 months to 1 year are already horrified of the bad management and toxic culture.

I have seen a big uptick in people wanting to get out. This is exactly what honeywell wants. They want to drive out the talent and replace it with new, younger and cheaper people.

Welcome to (the new) Honeywell! Where the best days in a Honeyweller's life are the day they start at Honeywell and the day they leave Honeywell.
