Has anyone else noticed that the audit organization is falling apart? I’m in the technology audit team and it seems like we are losing multiple people and leaders each week and they are not backfilling the roles. How is this okay?

The compensation within Audit is competitive but can come at a cost. An individual’s experience can be vastly different depending on which audit team they work for as the leader of each team and their abilities drive the environment you will work in. The Consumer Banking audit team is a revolving door of leadership so expect confusion and swirl. The Technology audit team is significantly more toxic and of lower morale than any other team. The Corporate and Investment Banking audit team is highest in morale and is led by the gold standard of a leader. It goes on and on. Pick your team wisely as it may become the job you love or the one you hate. Good luck.
It's $15/hr to start, and then goes up to $15.75 after 9 months.
Why work in Audit when you can work in IRM and Control and make more? Or go to another company with keas toxicity.
Attrition is better than in most years, actually. Yes, pay in audit is good. Much better than at most places.
This is how IT&V was last year.
Technology auditing is an highly sought after skill, they will be just fine.
Good auditors have lots of options, which means WF corporate BS like location strategy / RTO etc. make it pretty easy for people to point/laugh and move on to good employers.
Is the pay good in audit?
Can only assume you weren’t here for the Julie years where we experienced attrition at unprecedented levels. Most folks leave because of location strategy stuff or general burnout. The department has gotten better about balancing utilization and overworking people but audit is a hard career long field.
It’s also difficult to back fill positions especially in technology because you’re looking for a specific skill set in a competitive market.
