Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Ten years of a series of serious mistakes. Earning the trust of employees will never happen.

These people bear full responsibility for the situation we find ourselves in.

And the shareholders that continue to vote them in. The last vote was two weeks ago and it was in favor of the board by over 96%.

Each Director gets $400k a year and Stankey gets $22 million. None of Board will cross Stankey and get kicked off the “Gravy Train” and Stankey will demand more compensation regardless of performance!

All that matters is the jets have fuel for c-suite excursions and personal appointments!!

And on a few other notes about the BODs. BODs don't have industry (our AT&T industry) knowledge. BODs I expect do have some knowledge of economics and therefore could contribute to market business transformation(s). From a holistic, business, technology transformation perspective don't count on the BODs, put your money on someone like Amazon.

I don't understand the confusion. BODs do not contribute to business direction in real substantive ways. BODs keep the business in the lanes on the road and manage damage control Period!!!!!!!

They got paid by AT&T for serving on the board and they're happy. The only way this goes anywhere is if the Owners of AT&T (which stinkey and the clan own many shares) force the board to do something different.
