Quantum Feedback

Anyone doing Quantum Peer Feedback? How about Supervisor Feedback?

I was hoping Quantum would have gone away by now.

My spouse also works for the company and we pick each other as feedback providers. My manager admitted to not reading the reviews so who cares.

I get requests from people i hardly know. I simply plagiarize feedback from interweb sites by googling "examples of peer reviews."

For improvement opportunities i either enter a "." in that section or "continue doing what you're doing."

If i wanted to spend hours writing feedback, I'd be on the management track instead of an IC.

This thread explains why I’ve gotten random emails from people several states away wanting feedback. FWIW, I gave those people positive feedback, even though I don’t know anyone in Arizona. 👍

I picked 5 when quantum first started and then got told by my boss I had picked people who would give me good reviews so she ignored the responses. Refused to do it next time round and she made no comment. Pointless exercise.

We were told to select 5, although there is nothing in quantum which states what the required number is. I pretty much selected the same people who selected me. My manager has admitted to not paying much attention to any of it.

if you think this will get you on the friends and family list you are mistaken

Last time I did peer feedback and selected people I knew would give me good feedback and some I knew probably wouldn’t. Why the bad ones? Because I wanted to know so I could improve myself. None were bad and I got some good input, but guess what, it impacted my overall rating a little bit at the end of the year. So this time, I just picked everyone that I knew would give me good feedback. It’s really a worthless system.

I can only hope every employee completing the survey selects John Stankey as one of their peers to critique.

We should all ask Stankey for feedback

We all pick people we get along with and we all write how great we all are. This is by far the most useless feedback system ever.

I have to send out five requests for feedback. I always do four friendlies and one random person from phone I don’t know at all. Lol.

Lol, I make more than my first and second levels, have better insurance, better benefits, way more job security and the company even paid for my Bachelors and Masters degrees from real universities and not some bogus non-accredited online schools.

How is your career going, or would you rather me just give you some silly quantum feedback?

I select 5 people because I have to but I don't provide feedback. I don't think it is my job to critique my peers because that is their supervisor's job. Otherwise, why have supervisors?

Always give a good review - you don't know everything your peers are working on

It’s mandatory I select five peers. One or two will actually provide feedback. The others not so much.

I get selected to provide feedback but I have never actually done it.

In our group it's just not enforced so why do it?

The Supervisor feedback is set up differently this year. You have to select preset comments this time. Does it even matter what is selected?

gotta use it this year to make some more cuts

Same. Mandatory in my group too. I'm told it's supposed to go away next year, I'll believe that when I see it. Such a cr-ppy tool and the peer review process is so flawed...there can't possibly be any clean and useful data from that.

Manadtory over here too. Today was the last day to pick your 5 people for feedback.

It’s mandatory for us. We were told we had to solicit feedback from 5 people, the whole bit. I’m surprised it hasn’t gone away yet too.

It’s not mandatory, so no I don’t do it.
