Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Dietsch: Layoffs, layoffs, layoffs

Dietsch insists AT&T is going to cut its way to growth. Layoffs are coming, and the chances are much higher if you're not in a focus city (the only one mentioned is Dallas). But even if you're in Dallas, we're going to cut. Have never heard such a continuous stream of bull**** in my life. She was too much of a wu-s to even call it layoffs. She used phrases like "financial actions," "optimization pathways," and "revenue/cost balancing" every time she meant "layoff."

Carly, er I mean Alicia doesn't deal with laying anyone off, that's between your manager and HR.

You get a layoff. And you get a layoff. And you get a layoff.

Alicia almost makes one start to think Anne Chow wasn’t so bad.

Her most famous quote:
If you're gonna make an omelet you got to break a few eggs!

Dietsch, just another in a long line of losers. She brings nothing new to the table, only more babbling, using her carefully selected key words. She won't last long, then on to the next!

I’ve disliked her since day 1 of hearing the corporate babble word salad and it’s been years of the same bs. She’s old school and leads by fear, but don’t worry if you’re one of her favorites.

AT&T is going to grow it's way into growth. Cut the unneeded workers. Hire when need to. Run the business like a real business.

The more I listen to her the less I like her. She is such a shill for the company. And even she was straight out saying it's going to be messy and we're not doing well and are left with nothing to do but cut people.
