Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

EBU Toxic Leadership

What will happen first: DM takes CN’s job or DM has heart surgery?

Poor guy is gulping for breath on every town hall

Poor us if they keep promoting him

If DM is gasping for air then he should retire and make room for a younger replacement. Otherwise he will die at work and risk someone having to see it.

@3rsw if leadership engaged in s-xual conduct with local staff employees and also makes decisions about layoffs thats a problem and should be part of the layoffs conversation. Thisindividual makes decisions about layoffs, if they violated hr policies in three stations that matters.

I heard that there was a layoffs site on this link, where people post about layoffs. Does anyone know where that is?

@3rss I have heard the stories from VE, well known DM was "hands on" with local content there. Don't know about the KZ and angola stories, maybe someone else does

@7qrt something new brewing here, DM indiscretion with another exec. Not my business to report it. What happened in KZ and Angola? I was hired after that.

What about those indiscretions when DM was first in KZ? And in Angola? Those stories are wild, but leadership doesn’t care so much

Chevron has a long-standing practice of sending toxic leaders overseas where their indiscretions can be hidden under the guise of cultural variation. Stuff that happens overseas would get you fired stateside. They also like to balance violations with value added. Worker bees can be fired for nothing but a leader with a lot invested in them and maybe some secrets will almost never be pushed out and even then it will be via subtle demotions and stripping of responsibility.

MW, JJ (now retired), NH (now in power)……do not care as long as “they” deliver without “major” issues such as govt reporting issues from nationals.

DM is command and control. And also plenty “hands-on” with local content. Does no one care about this stuff as long as it’s international?

Basically isn’t Toxic one of the ten “alternative” tenets?

DM’s gravy train might be over now that JJ retired.

How in the heck is MH in Australia and still at this company? How long has that dude milked the system? Does he not have a life? Unreal. One of the biggest snakes and closing on 40 years with CVX

PLEASE don’t promote DM behind CN……..DM is a command and control director from decades ago. EBU needs true modern day leadership………..
