Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

It looks like the UK is waking up from sleep

After many miserable and years of occupation, it seems that H in uk can not cope with the workers. Mediocre raises are rejected and priority employees are undervalued, resulting in a lack of motivation and supporting rebellious actions. Managers usually nice people use the company for their own benefit, so that mediocrity works for them. You can see uncertainty in the ranks and this raises hopes for changes for people to be treated with respect for their profession.
Hey hey UK, How You doin?

Ex Bracknell here, business/morale was unrecognisable when I left last year compared to only a few years back. I laughed when guys were leaving in 2018 telling me the ship is about to sink then they were laughing at me, what a sh1tshow. The writing is so clearly on the wall chaps.

Not sure how aware people in UK / EU are of this site, but as one poster said, its the same old story no matter where you are in the world, but in high cost regions like US / EU and certain EU countries, the clock is ticking!!

Ex UK employee, moved on in 2019 (best decision ever), but still in contact with several people who remain. Things have only gone downhill, stock shortages, poor leadership, excessive bureaucracy, mediocre pay rises, PIP’s etc etc the list is almost endless.
Yes, the UK / EU do have better labour protection laws, but with the cost of manufacturing within the UK these days, it can only be a matter of time when lower cost regions (even within Europe) start to become very attractive!

UK and Europe have far superior and fairer labour protection compared to the crooked machine that it the US so naturally Honeywell is not as aggressive here. However they are ramping up the psychological and bureaucratic games to bully people out.

Many people here in the UK have moved on in the last year even accepting pay reductions just to get away from the car crash that is Honeywell. It was noticeable in 2017/2018 then went exponentially bad from there on. Morale is indeed terrible, lots of rumors going around.

Heard of small / targeted recent layoffs in a couple of UK SST sites. Morale is indeed low, and it would appear that individuals whose face fits get the promotions! Same old story wherever you are in the world!
