I was told directly from VP level, the corporate “strategy” is never insource, only outsource. Scavenge what equipment is left for parts and when that can no longer be repaired outsource the work from that machine. Run the company into the ground.

Excellent point. It almost looks like Honeywell is forgoing the USA in favor of BRICS as it is currently. Maybe that in the end, the only Honeywell left in the US will be executives and maybe some US defense workers. Of course the executives will want to stay in the US because the living is so good.
It will be interesting if Mexico is accepted into BRICS and what will happen to NAFTA
In incoming years you can expect all US production to be moved to Mexico and metric/EU production to be also moved to China and some parts to India. Design will follow the same path. In case there are some customers left.
Everything will be closed eventually. HONs goal is to own zero sites, but rather just license repairs and skim money off the top selling parts mafia style.
What's going on in Cambridge ON these days?
Not even close to being done with the rooftop reduction plan. But it depends if you're asking just about intelligrated locations or all of SPS or at a HON total perspective.
