There isn't a pizza eve if it was imported from Italy that could boost the morale of this company! It's beyond the point of no return because the dust hasn't yet settled! There's more cutting and trimming to do between headcount and benefits and it won't end until Wall street is happy!
If you do fill out the survey, best to give all high marks. They know who you are. Low marks give action items to your managers and action items always roll down hill.
"Everything's great. I have no issues or complaints at this time."
I suggested more townhall meetings. Love to watch all the back slapping, head bobbing and BS that follows.
I suggested a company sponsored pizza party every quarter to help boost morale. I'm not suggesting Dominos or Little Caesars, rather high quality pizza that's available in every community. Since not all company facilities have soda machines and ice, I suggested managers be responsible for providing cups, ice, an soda. I really think this would go a long way in uniting all employees at a small cost to the company.
Exercise in futility! The only ones who care are the poor slobs that have to come up with useless action plans that aren’t ever enacted upon. Don’t forget to add to your plan “purpose” now managers, this years useless slogan.
The one thing that does get noticed is if a group doesn’t fill out the survey. It’s a way to shine a light on poor managers. They will be questioned in the feedback. So your chance to reverse the field.
I asked 3 people in my group if they responded and all said, "No, what's the point!"
I guess most people are apathetic about these surveys by now!
Lack of survey completion = layoff factor.
" This survey marks the 10th year of the company sending them out. Have you personally witnessed positive changes from the surveys? "
- and they've usually followed up with mass layoffs afterwards after seeing who does not really want to be here !
I keep getting texts and emails to do the surveys that are supposedly anonymous, but somehow they know I haven’t done them and you have to log in with your global logon to do them.
The best thing for each employee to do is to not do them at all.
I honestly haven’t seen anything change based on those surveys ever. Best to not be too honest in your answers because they do know who wrote what or can figure it out.
The surveys are anonymous but yet they know who hasn’t completed them. For an anonymous survey it seems odd to know who hasn’t completed them.
This survey marks the 10th year of the company sending them out. Have you personally witnessed positive changes from the surveys?
Do not do the surveys, they are not anonymous and it bothers them more if you don’t do them at all.
