Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

silly number of Indians here

Never worked at a place so absolutely flooded with unqualified Indian headcount. Most offshore produce next to no quality work even after a yr of hand holding.

This was the same issue at another "peer" bank. We are not alone in this fight and frankly I'm sick of doing re-work after providing learning session after learning session and producing training material after training material. Common sense is not a term equally attributable to our offshore counterparts.

Exact same for our team. They have been on our team over a year and still can’t think for themselves or handle any variances. 3 offshore don’t even equal 1 onshore.

The quality just isn't there. Some inside people I'm sure are making big bucks on setting up this business. I don't get the hype as the average person you pull off the street could do a better job. It's really SAD the lack of foresight, the poor judgement and the overall lack of accountability in making the decision to hire & expand there.

The same people trying to scam me 24/7 will eventually be the same people doing development work for my WF application. That doesn’t sound risky at all.

Question: Are the Indian worker's performance graded on the stack ranking system like the US workers? Are there layoffs of Indian workers? Are agile metrics, gitlab, employed in India?
Working on a thesis.
Thanks...

Love how the mods leave the racist thread and delete the thread that points out the racism. Quality site.

Poorer American means higher profits for Wells Fargo.
Poorer American also means poorer US.
A less wealthy US means more money printing to cover expenses.
More money printing benefits Wells Fargo.

They have cooks
Cook only costs about 50-100 USD per.month
2 meals 5 days a week. Cook will be working at 5 other homes so they come in for an hour ane cook enough food for 2 meals

Average/ high salary for one with 10 year+ experience at a public co. / financial service is about 650,000 rupees a year or about shy of $8,000 a year. About 10% of what WF pays or less than most of us make a month.

No wonder jobs are going to India!!

But whoever decides this better darn sure that cheap short cuts will not cost the bank more in the future!!

What a d-mb post bro. Their economy is one of the poorest in the world! They have raw sweetheart in their streets. Where on earth do you think they have cooks and gardeners? Sounds like a delusional Charlie posting again.

I guess exploiting the average middle class American worker isn’t enough for these guys anymore so they went to torture another country’s workers too. Leave India alone!

They are not paid “slave labor”. While their wages are a portion compared to their equivalent US counterpart/role equivalent, they are paid according to their economy. All Indians that I know go on substantial family vacations at least once per year to somewhere very desirable, are able to afford extras like a cook, house cleaner and nanny. I cannot reasonably afford all of those things - can the average US WF worker??

Also, there are a host of other perks they get from WF or other US companies that are not provided to US employees, like an expected minimum double digit increase upon promotion or hiring, budgets for team dinners, etc.

Charlie pays them 30 dollars a month like slave labor. They are d-mb as can be. The so called accountants look at all the mortgage tax returns and calculate income which is wrong. 99 percent of the time. Way to go Charlie. Hoping one of the candidates for president will use all this outsourcing of American jobs so we can give them examples

There’s no way way of work is sustainable. Either reincorporate Wells Fargo in India, or kindly bring the jobs all back to the US. They are PAINFUL to work with.
