Just notified I lose my SM 6/1. Also, single queue begins 7/15 so, I lose 3 tellers. No way this works out. Arizona's management doesn't get it, or care.

I would like to visit Antarctica, what is the process? I heard every nation signed a treaty in the 50s to prevent anyone, anywhere from going. Wonder why. Any advice would be great! I’ll be out here spinning around in the black abyss if you need to reach me.
Don’t bother applying for any internal jobs if you were laid off. No one gets saved. Take your severance and get out.
Agreed 100% here. Crazy how much influence he has over everything. My job is to succeed in spite of any strategies he puts together.
You’re right as well this isn’t AZ mgt behind this - I just meant that they are the pilot region. They’re testing it there probably just to see how short term turnover is and make sure it isn’t too astronomical and then hopefully they can implement it nationwide.

It’s not AZ management. It goes well above them. Shaun McD really runs things, not Michelle Lee or her replacement. The leaders are figureheads carrying out Shaun’s strategy. They are a far cry from the past RP/AP roles in terms of power and influence.
I don’t see the need for more complex cash transactions going away any time soon. Think about small business customers.
However, there’s absolutely no reason to have people specialize in this and only doing this. Make them all personal bankers, and then have those personal bankers do cash transactions in addition to opening accounts etc.
do like pnc and just replace the tellers with video chat atms. it does amaze me sometimes that people still go to branches and wait for tellers. many times I've walked by our branches having lines out the door.

No wonder they are no longer interviewing these positions. I posted for 2 of these after I was laid off from mortgage. Never heard a word. Mortgage is dying and now the bank. Any place left to work?

I think this is an Arizona pilot right now. Wonder how it’ll go. Sucks to hear your losing four employees but I’m guessing you’ll be able to post some banker jobs that you could hire these people back for?
